Your analysis is great and helped me understand how to connect the dots to a thought I’ve had about shared trauma hand in hand with community. “The compelling shift from silence to shared accountability suggests that healing, whether collective or personal, depends on not erasing the trauma, but confronting it together”, This sentence provides insight on a solution for Yetu and her people but it can be used to in real life scenarios as well. Why can’t all the mere folk live and acknowledge existing in a living archive and having knowledge of the past..? This story is so complex and can be used as so many metaphors!
